FINE DINING IN COLORADO SPRINGS
The
Blue Star
Provides a choice of three dining experiences.
An upscale bar and casual café on one side, a trendy, art
filled, fine dining room on the other side, and a private dining
room in our wine cellar. One could happily visit The Blue Star weekly
and seldom eat the same dish. You might eat filet each time, or
pasta with shellfish, but the particular preparation will differ
week to week.
Briarhurst
Manor
Located in the tiny valley of Manitou Springs. The stately Victorian
Manor House was built in 1876 by the founder of Manitou Springs,
Dr. William Bell, of London England. Chef Lawrence Johnson, Colorado
Chef of the Year 2002. They are celebrating 30 years of culinary
artistry by featuring the finest in award winning Rocky Mountain
Cuisine.
Ritz
Grill Restaurant
The friendly, art deco atmosphere of the Ritz Grill has been a longtime
favorite of the downtown crowd. The Ritz has been a Tejon Street
hot spot for more than 15 years, and has gained notoriety for its
food, cocktails, and live music.
The
Pepper Tree
Dining al fresco in Colorado is a singular experience, and this
hilltop restaurant has one of the most breathtaking views in the
city. The atmosphere is very formal (the waitstaff wears tuxedos)
and is popular with the Colorado Springs social set. Diners are
treated to meals prepared right at their table—a nice touch
of personal service.
The Margarita at PineCreek
The international entrees, which change daily, are always consummately
prepared. The lounge, which has a separate menu, is comfortable
and intimate, the perfect place for drinks and a date.
Gertrude's
Restaurant
A triumph of cuisine, style and design. Casual Dining created by
Executive Chef and Owner Robert Wooldridge dominates a menu peppered
with favorites like Filet Mignon, North Atlantic Salmon, Fresh Fish
and Chocolate Oblivion and several Grill Specials available every
night.
